Clinics
Each semester, the UGA Eventing Team hosts team clinics with coaches who have competed at the very top level of eventing. Team clinics have been taught by Kyle Carter, The Schramms, Mary Bess Davis, Kristin Schmolze, Elisa Wallace, Doug Payne, David O'Brien, Michael Pollard, Maya Black, Sinead Halpin and many more..
Our team is very appreciative of our trainers who provide their valuable time and experience to work with us.
Bobby Costello
Bobby is a well known eventer in Southern Pines focusing on building well rounded riders to succeed at the top of this sport! He placed 8th at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, has top 3 placings at multiple 5* events. He won team gold at the 2003 Pan American Games. He used to be chairman of the USEF Eventing High Performance program and has sat on the selection committee for the Olympics and Pan American Games!
LESLIE LAW
Leslie Law is a highly successful, international 4* event rider will successes including the individual gold medal at the Athens Olympic games. Leslie is now based in Ocala, FL competing, training, and coaching many horses to success at all levels.
JON HOLLING
Jonathan Holling is an international three-day eventer with experience through the 4 star level. He has ridden at such world famous events as The Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event, Burghley Horse Trials, the World Cup Eventing Finals in Malmo Sweden, and was a member of the 2012 Nations Cup team at Boekelo in The Netherlands.

Elisa is a well-known four-star eventer with a huge fan base. Apart from competing her two upper level horses, Simply Priceless and Corteo, Elisa also takes part in Mustang Makeovers. She can often be found at big events showcasing her mustangs. In 2015, Elisa completed her first four star at Rolex with Simply Priceless placing in the top 20 and was distinguished as the highest placed 'Rolex Rookie.'

KRISTIN SCHMOLZE
Kristin is a highly successful international 4-star event rider. She had early success in eventing being named the USEA's Young Rider of the Year in 2003. She also won the individual silver and team gold medal at the North American Junior Young Riders Championships. She completed her first four star in 2005 at Rolex where she placed 12th. Her current four star mount, Ballylaffin Bracken, was named the PRO Advanced Horse of the Year. Kristin is a huge asset for the team. She acts as one of our active advisors and trains many of our members.

David O'Brien
The team has done two clinics with David, both at Full Gallop farm. March 2018 and 2019.
Michael Pollard
We hosted a two day clinic with 4**** event rider Michael Pollard, the first day being private dressage and the second being group show jumping lessons
Maya Black
We hosted Maya for a Show Jumping Clinic at Silverthorn farm. One of Maya's main mottos was "Its all about the Canter". Photo credit to Shelby Allen.
Doug Payne
We hosted a show jumping clinic at Silverthorn Farm with 4 star event rider and Grand Prix Show jumper Doug Payne.
Sinead Halpin
We hosted Sinead Halpin for a cross country clinic at Pine Top Farm in Thompson GA.
