With the help of Allisa Heuistis and Kay Amann of Pascova Farm, Joria Miller began the process of creating the first roster for the Eventing Team at UGA. The goal was to create a team atmosphere for event riders, which would foster the bulldog school spirit. The team would be a community for otherwise independent athletes, that would help individuals progress their eventing careers.

By the Spring of 2013, the Eventing Team at UGA was in full swing, with 25 members and many local supporters. UGA went on to win the first ever college challenge, which was hosted by Chattahoochee Hills. The UGA Eventing Team will be forever grateful to Jorja, Kay, and Allisa, as well as Imitiaz Anees and Mary Bess Sigman Davis for everything they did to create the team.
